Operation Sceptre

Today is the last day of a week long National Campaign that has been aimed at tackling knife crime.

Our teams have been out and about raising awareness around this campaign and activity across the force area has included school visits; deploying a knife arch in key locations; knife ‘sweeps’ in parks and other locations; visits to habitual knife carriers, stop searches; warrants and liaising with shops who sell knives to ensure they are challenging anyone who they believe to be under 18.

On Monday 22nd November the team are holding a community beat surgery at Hathern Village Hall 10:00-11:00 should residents of Hathern have any concerns that they wish to raise with the team please do stop by.

On Tuesday 23rd November PCSO Lucinda Bailey will be attending St Winefides School Shepshed to talk to the children about Cyber Bullying
