Residential Burglary Theft From Van and Suspicious Person

Hello from the Burbage beat team. Here is an update for recent days to raise awareness around local crime.

Suspicious person on Norfolk Close around 04:45 on 13/10/21. Area search completed, no one identified.

Denis Road residential burglary. No resident present at time of incident. Rear conservatory door and kitchen door smashed. Unknown items taken at the moment. Crime number 21000600676

Number plates stolen from vehicle on Brookside overnight on 15th into 16th October. Also on the same night a van was broken into on Featherston Drive, tools taken.

Residential burglary on Primrose Drive on the 15th October. Entrance gained via kitchen window. No one home and unknown items taken.

Whilst completing patrols, Pc Sharpe recovered the below vehicle on Sapcote Road. No tax or insurance.



Please be extra vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour immediately to 101 or 999. If you see suspicious activity on your camera regarding recent days, please forward on any vehicle registration plate details or good facial images.

Remember to ensure your home looks occupied if you are away and do not leave items in your vehicle. Remove cash and jewellery from your property before you go away as these are the typically targeted items.
