Visit made to the official opening of the friendly bench at the library. The weather brightened up and it was lovely to see so many residents about, especially with the scarecrow festival also on which was a great success. Suspicious character

Do you have any CCTV footage following a report of a suspicious person walking along Salisbury Road towards Dorchester Road on Saturday 18th around 11:15. If you have chance to look at your footage and find anything, please get in touch. Person is described as single youth with rucksack.

Bicycle found

A resident has found a bicycle near Brookside Park. We have no reports of this bike being stolen but get in touch if you think it is yours. Some of the description is a GT outpost 18” frame, new looking bicycle.

One of the recently stolen bicycles is back with its owner. We are still looking though for the Red frame TREK with distinctive blue wheels. Please keep a look out.

Whilst out on patrol we spotted this vehicle left unlocked and windows wide open. Please remember to lock up. You never know who is about up to no good.

We have also continued to challenge parking and manner of driving complaints in the area where we can.

Scams from residents Royal Mail

"I received a message purporting to be from the Royal Mail that the delivery of a parcel had not been possible but that I could rearrange delivery after payment of £2+ if I paid by card.
The message came from +44 7306 6*****. The number does not exist.
The document looks authentic. I did not give any details for payment and did not complete the form or give any further details."
