Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Hello, and we hope you are keeping well.

Thank you for being part of Neighbourhood Link and taking a few minutes to keep up to date with what is happening in your area.

Remember you can complete surveys via https://www.neighbourhoodalert.co.uk/6DB0ED60-9448-4FE2-AC44-1CE639222AEF/QuickRegister

Please see attached your Monthly Burbage Police Newsletter for July. This includes the priorities as voted for by Burbage residents. This month’s priorities are Anti-social behaviour, Road Safety and Vehicle Crime.

Vehicle crime has reduced this week but we have received a report last night (01/07/2021) of two hedge trimmers being taken out the back of a pick up on Brookside between 20:00-20:30. The suspect vehicle left in the direction of Rugby Road. If you have any information or CCTV of this, please get in touch.

Thank you to everyone that popped by for the crime prevention event last Saturday outside the Millennium Hall. It was great to see you and hopefully the items/discussions will help prevent or reduce crime. Products are still available if you want any support. Drop an Email to Darren.stretton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk and I will send you the catalogue.

Leicestershire Police have a campaign called “are you listening”, as a result we are working with hotels around County Lines and Child Sexual Exploitation. This activity can involve drugs, knife crime, crime, sexual exploitation and gangs. Locally we are visiting sites with information and posters to help staff look out for signs of this activity.

Please see the link for more information. https://www.leics.police.uk/police-forces/leicestershire-police/areas/leicestershire-force-content/c/campaigns/2020/are-you-listening/

Thank you and take care.
